A farmer named Nguyen Van Hien in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang has been planting Ninh Thuan grape varieties on his 2 hectares land after finding the varieties suitable to local climate. Located in Phuoc Tho hamlet. O Lam commune, Tri Ton district, his vineyard named Thao Nguyen has more than 10,000 grape trees in red grape, candy grape and green grape varieties, yielding about 3 tons of fruits each year. In addition to the produce, he also opens the vineyard for visitors with services for sampling grapes at the garden or taking photos. The vineyard gains popularity with domestic and foreign visitors, with around 100 arrivals each week. During the holiday seasons, tourist arrival to the vineyard can reach up to 1,000 each week.
